Terms & Conditions

1. Services Provided

- My IT Pal (referred to as "the Business") offers in-home IT services to assist customers with technical issues, software installations, troubleshooting, and other related tasks.

2. Equipment Handling and Accountability

- When equipment (computers, peripherals, etc.) is taken off-site for service, the Business will log all serial numbers to ensure proper identification and prevent confusion among clients' devices.

3. Responsibilities

- The Business agrees to exercise reasonable care and expertise in handling customer equipment.

- Customers are responsible for backing up their data before service commences. The Company is not liable for any data loss.

4. Liability

- The Business is not liable for any damage caused by pre-existing conditions of the equipment or for inherent risks associated with technical services.

- Customers understand and accept the risks of service, including potential data loss or system failures.

5. Service Fees and Payment

- Fees for services rendered will be communicated upfront and agreed upon before service begins.

- Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

- If hardware or software is required for the service, the client must settle the invoice before any further work can proceed.

6. Termination of Service

- Either party may terminate the service agreement at any time for any reason.

7. Confidentiality

- The Company agrees to keep all customer information confidential and not disclose any personal or sensitive data without explicit consent.

8. Agreement

- By signing this agreement, customers acknowledge that they have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to abide by them.

9. Governing Law

- This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australian Government.
